Have you ever heard of a MacGuffin?  It's the object the story revolves around.  It's that shiny object or awesome thing that everyone in the story is after.  It's a plot device that drives the characters and the plot forward.  It adds suspense and motivation.

What if I told you that that house you want to buy is just a MacGuffin?   Let me explain it a little better - Yes, I'm a Realtor®.  It's my job to sell houses.  BUT it's honestly not the most important part of the job for me.  The house is the treasure you're after. 

 

It's like this - you're scrolling through funny videos on whatever platform and you see a video about someone going through the whole home buying process. You're watching their story, it's about the person that made the video. Do you want them to totally succeed and show off their treasure? Absolutely!  Call me nosy, but the story is the important part. I, personally, like to see how they get from point A to point B.  If I can help and contribute to your story?  I want to help YOU find what motivates you, what drives you forward and eventually help you get the treasure - which in this case is your house.

I do what I do because I love people.  I love being able to help people and be a part of their story and their journey.

Look at it this way - Lord of the Rings isn't about Gandalf, it's about Frodo's journey. If I get to be Gandalf and help guide you to Mordor?  Or perhaps I'm Samwise to your Frodo?  Or maybe I'm the DM, guiding helping guide your story along, equipping you as best I can for the next chapter of your story.
